Interactive Design

With a focus on experience (UX) and interface (UI) design, the Department of Design’s Interactive Degree builds on the fundamentals of design theory.  Whether a student is passionate about user interface or video game development our interactive design degree is intended to provide students a wide range of opportunities to explore in the multifaceted interactive design industry.  Some of the areas students explore include: app and web design, video game design, 3D printing, and object and environmental design.

Graphic Design

Graphic Design, also known as visual communication, is the practice of creating visual and textual content to communicate ideas and experiences to a specific audience. The form includes images, words and/or graphics and can be physical or virtual. Designers create in the commercial, cultural or political realm. Loyola Graphic Design program focuses on projects that align with the Jesuit mission of making the world a better place. Students will learn the process of design from sketching and conceptualizing, to producing a final product.
